    Yes. At the moment of your registration, you must be eligible to all the criteria, including years of marriage.

    The first step is to verify that you fill all the criteria required by the country of origin. If, indeed, you are eligible to all the said criteria, a mandatory pre-registration information session (free of charge) will teach you more about the adoption process for the chosen country and will enable you to complete your registration. You may verify the admissibility criteria on our website or the one of the Secrétariat à l’adoption international (SAI).

    No. Our waiting lists are complete. We will post a new message on our website in the appropriate section of the said country only when we are able to add new names to our waiting lists.

    The special need children have one or more rectifiable medical condition(s) at the moment of the proposal which could require a surgery and/or a specialist’s intervention in order for the child to reach his/her full potential, such as a speech therapist, an orthodontist, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, etc.

    The answer to this question really lies in the personal limits of each adopter. A condition considered minor for a couple could be perceive as major for another one. The idea is to evaluate your limits as an individual, but also as a couple.
